These terms govern your use of Team Up, provided by Firesio. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you use Team Up on behalf of a business, you agree on its behalf.
The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Team Up. Installing or using the app accepts them.
Eligibility and accounts
You need an active Shopify store to use Team Up, and your use is also subject to Shopify's own terms. You are responsible for keeping your store and account secure and for everything done through them.
What the app does
Team Up gives a store one shareable link for group and team orders. An organizer starts a team order, team members join through the link and pick their own options, and the organizer closes the order and pays once for the whole group. Team Up keeps a live roster and a production sheet, and creates the consolidated draft order in your store. We may add, change or remove features over time, and we will tell you about changes that remove something you rely on. Your store can also show a Team Up page on its own website, through a Shopify app proxy, where shoppers start, join and follow team orders; logging in there is optional and uses your store's customer accounts.
Fees and billing
The app has a Free plan with usage limits, which are listed on the pricing page, and two paid plans, Team Up and Team Grow, without those limits. The current prices are on the pricing page and are shown in the app before you are charged. Billing runs through Shopify's billing system, which also applies any free trial. You can change or cancel your plan from the app's billing page at any time, without contacting support.
Acceptable use
Do not use Team Up for anything unlawful, or to sell goods that Shopify or the law prohibits. Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the app. Do not collect team members' data through Team Up for any purpose other than fulfilling the team order. We may suspend access where the app is misused in a way that harms shoppers, other stores or the service.
Your responsibilities as a merchant
You are responsible for the orders you run, for fulfilling them, and for your own store policies, including refunds and shipping. You are the controller of your shoppers' personal data: you must have the right to collect it and must handle it in line with applicable law and your own privacy policy. Team Up processes that data on your behalf, as described in the privacy policy. Your own privacy policy should mention the team orders page, the optional customer login and the small amount of data it keeps in the shopper's browser, as our privacy policy describes.
Intellectual property
Team Up, including its software, design and branding, belongs to us. These terms do not transfer any ownership to you. The data you and your shoppers put into the app remains yours.
Availability and support
Team Up runs on Shopify and Cloudflare and depends on them to work. We work to keep it running, but we are not responsible for outages or changes on those platforms, we do not promise uninterrupted service, and we do not make a specific uptime or support-response commitment. Support is by email at the address on the support page.
Liability and warranties
The app is provided as is and as available, without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Team Up. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the three months before the claim. You remain responsible for the orders you run, for fulfilling them, and for your own store policies, including refunds and shipping.
Termination
You can stop using Team Up at any time by uninstalling it from your store. When you uninstall, we delete your access tokens at once and erase the rest of your data when Shopify's store-erasure request arrives, as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Team Up's operator is established, and disputes are heard in the courts there, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
